On September 7th, YG Entertainment announced the second single off the groupŌĆÖs anticipated second album. Expectations are growing as BLACKPINK released a group poster, teasing fans with closed silver shutters just like the name of their new track. The groupŌĆÖs new album, Born Pink, will drop on September 16th at 1PM KST (local time). Previously on September 6th, their pre-release track ŌĆ£Pink VenomŌĆØ topped both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S charts on Billboard. Billboard shared that BLACKPINK is the first female K-pop group that has topped both charts for two straight weeks. ŌĆ£Pink VenomŌĆØ surpassed 108.4 million streams and 7,000 downloads, scoring the highest record on the chart for the week. Moreover, the MV for the song attracted 9 million views on Youtube in just 24 hours of its release, setting a new record as the fastest K-pop female group to achieve this milestone.
