On December 7th, an Arab entertainment media outlet named ETbilArabi released a video interview of Cha Eun Woo on its official social media. The video had the actor at a fashion event held in Egypt, answering questions from local reporters in English. When asked about what it was like visiting Egypt, Cha Eun Woo replied, ŌĆ£There were many Egyptian fans at the airport, so I was delighted to see them. I didnŌĆÖt know if I had fans here. But I am glad to have met them in person.ŌĆØ He added, ŌĆ£Visiting the pyramids was such an incredible experience, and I am happy IŌĆÖve seen it in person.ŌĆØ He could not hide his excitement when the reporter brought up South Korea making it to the knockout stage in the Qatar World Cup. ŌĆ£I watched the game with my staff members who came to Egypt with me,ŌĆØ the singer said excitedly. Then he started answering the question going back and forth between English and Korean. The star went, ŌĆ£So everybody ŌĆśmakŌĆÖ [translates to ŌĆśjustŌĆÖ] screamed. We were so happy and ŌĆśmakŌĆÖ hugged each other.ŌĆØ Fans rushed to the comment section after watching this cute video of him unconsciously mixing Korean with English.
