On the 6th, CJ ENM announced that they would launch a K-pop audition program for the Latin American market. The project will allow CJ ENMŌĆÖs Mnet crew to plan their unique K-pop audition with South Americal applicants. MnetŌĆÖs accumulated planning and development capabilities for audition programs will meet with Endemol Shine Boomdog. And their collaboration will allow a new show filled with South American sentiments. Once the program broadcasts successfully, there will be a K-pop boy group with South American members. CJ ENM will be the first Korean company to create an audition program in Latin America. For this audition, K-pop artists and South American stars will star as judges. South America is considered a place with great growth potential for the entertainment industry. In particular, the Latin American music market has recently grown 18.9% annually.
