The King of Pigs deals with the heavy topic, school violence. In the small society of middle school, the film depicts the weak who conform to violence and power as pigs. It illustrates the inferiority and servility that the ŌĆ£pigsŌĆØ face. And it further describes the despair and absurdity that the resisting ŌĆ£pigsŌĆØ experience. The film won three awards at the 2011 Busan International Film Festival. According to Sports DongA, Hidden Sequence and Studio Dragon will co-produce the TV version of The King of Pigs. Hidden Sequence has started casting calls last month and will hold public auditions this month. Since the work revolves around a middle school, the cast lineup will be filled with teenagers.
