ShooŌĆÖs Japanese management company Diamond Music announced the release of ShooŌĆÖs digital single on its official website on Oct. 2. Her debut song ŌĆ£I found loveŌĆØ is also said to have been chosen as the theme song for the movie Seikimatsu Blue, starring a member of NML48 (AKB48ŌĆÖs sister group in Manila). Shoo signed an exclusive contract with Diamond Music in September last year and prepared for debut in Japan but suddenly halted all schedules. People assumed that bad public opinion about the legal battle over her gambling debt stopped her from moving forward. But it seems like not much has changed in public sentiment. After the report of her debut came out, the prevailing opinion is that itŌĆÖs too soon for her to make her comeback. Shoo was sentenced to six months in prison, two years in probation, and 80 hours of community service for spending a total of over 790 million KRW (about 683,450 USD) in habitual gambling from August 2016 to May 2018.
