The singerŌĆÖs posh vehicle met its new owner on December 13th at Seoul AuctionŌĆÖs Black Lot, a website that sells rare items. The website initially did not reveal that Jungkook owned the car but briefly mentioned that it was a vehicle driven by a global celebrity. But it soon received much attention after the SUVŌĆÖs first owner was leaked last month. Reports say that the singer purchased the car in 2019 and owned it for more than two years before handing it over to a collector. The new model of the car is priced at around $178,000, and the purple backdrop used behind the car also hints at the fact that the car once belonged to the BTS member, as the color holds special meaning among the bandmates and their army. Meanwhile, the action which began last month was halted two hours before its scheduled closing. The website reportedly banned minors and foreigners from bidding as a large number of unidentified bidders were logged in the bidding history. The auction resumed on December 6th by allowing bids to be placed by individuals who deposited $3,800 to the auction website. A total of eighty bidders partook in the auction, and the car was sold at $925,354. The website does not disclose the winning bidder. Source (1)
