The 57th Baeksang Art Awards, hosted by Shin Dong Yup, was held at KINTEX on the 13th. And this star-studded event honored some of the greatest achievements in TV, film, and theater last year. Last night, Yoo Jae Suk became the first comedian to win two Baeksang Grand Prizes. In his acceptance speech, he shared, ŌĆ£I debuted as a comedian back in 1991. I will continue to focus on my career and try to make more people laugh in delight.ŌĆØ He then added, ŌĆ£I think weŌĆÖve reached a time when we need to show more interest and love in our culture and tradition that we take for granted.ŌĆØ The Book of Fish director Lee Joon Ik was honored with the Grand Prize for the film category. ŌĆ£So many staff devoted and sacrificed themselves to reduce the production cost. We got the award because actors prioritized devotion and sacrifice before their profits.ŌĆØ Awards for Best Drama and Best Film went to Beyond Evil and Samjin Company English Class. But this wasnŌĆÖt the end of Beyond EvilŌĆśs glowing achievements. It took a total of three awards, Best Drama, Best Actor, and Best Screenplay.
